The IIH Support forum is independently run by a team of volunteers and is not affiliated to IIH UK (although the founder members of IIH UK are forum members). This board is maintained by the IIH UK team, and not the forum staff, however, we felt that to prevent news of the two main organisations for IIH getting lost amongst the many messages of the forum, that it would be useful to have a board dedicated to news of, and news from IIH UK. This board is provided as a convenience to members, and any queries regarding IIH UK should be addressed to info@iih.org.uk.

IIH Weight Trial

Post by Shelly » Wed Nov 08, 2017 11:59 am

Birmingham IIH have created a fb page to help recruit controls (people without IIH) to the weight trial. You can find the page here:

Are you overweight?
Would you like to help with a national research project?
If you are female, 18 or over and overweight (with a BMI of 35 or more) you might be able to take part in the IIH Weight Control Group study. Follow the fb link to learn more or head direct to the trial page here: https://www.birmingham.ac.uk/research/a ... ction.aspx
