...make my computer screen easier to read?

If you're using a computer that runs Microsoft Windows software (and most people do), then there's already some help within the Windows system to help you see the screen better. Simply go into the Control Panel: Start > Control Panel - and look for the item that says "Accessibility options", and you can work through a "wizard" to set up your computer to best suit your needs, including adjusting the text, contrast and colours on your screen, and "Configure Windows to work for your vision, hearing, and mobility needs".

There's also a magnifier and an on-screen keyboard built into Windows.

There's also information on various software that can be used to make the computer screen easier to read in the "Vision and vision problems" child board in the forum's "Info Centre" down near the bottom of the page.
